Welcome to Huber-Moore Funeral Home!

The Huber-Moore family is proud of the long tradition of serving the community. In 1892 the Burr family built this house located at 517 Farnsworth Avenue in the historic City of Bordentown, New Jersey. In 1940 Stanley Earnest converted this residence into a funeral home which he operated until 1961.

Our family consists of John Moore, the owner of the firm. John joined the firm as an intern in 1981, later as Funeral Director. He became President of the firm in March of 1999. Bill and Sugar Huber relocated to Bordentown in 1961 and took over the day to day operations. The name was changed to the Huber Funeral Home in 1965. In 1990 Ernie Dobronte joined the firm as an intern, he received his funeral directors license in October of 1998. In April of 2000 the name was changed to Huber-Moore Funeral Home as we continue the long tradition of personalized service into the new millenium. In September of 2002 Cindy Caterson joined our firm as a funeral intern. In October of 2003 Cindy received her funeral directors license, and assumed her current position as a funeral director and the Director of advance funeral planning.

After the 100th anniversary of the building in 1994 an extensive remodeling project was begun. An addition doubling the size of the funeral home was added to better serve the community. The changes made the funeral home ADA compliant offering a rear entry ramp, spacious rest rooms, a main funeral chapel with seating for over 100 people, a second chapel seating 75, a children's area, and a casket and burial vault display area.

A memorable funeral service doesn't "just happen". It takes dedicated funeral directors and a knowledgeable staff long hours of preparation to provide each family with the unique service they desire for their loved one. The Huber-Moore Funeral Home offers many diverse services and merchandise serving all faiths which allows you the opportunity of custom planning a service to fulfill your wishes and needs. Before, during, and after the loss of a loved one you can rest assured knowing "our families will be there to serve your family".
