Shirley Joyce Ayers, 67, of Homestead at Mansfield in Columbus, N.J., died Monday at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Neshanic Station, N.J., she had resided most of her life in New Jersey, the past 6 years at Homestead in Mansfield Township. She was an active member of the Columbus Baptist Church and was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband, Milton D. Ayers, 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Jeff of Pemberton, Mike and Dana of Harrington, Delaware and Kevin and Tammy of Roebling. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 P.M. from the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown with Rev. John D. Grove officiating. Burial will follow in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover Township. Calling hours will be Thursday after 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
