Albert W. Blakeslee, Jr.
Roebling - Albert W. Blakeslee, Jr., 41 of Roebling died Sunday at his home. Born in Trenton he had resided all of his life in the area. He was a construction laborer and a member of American Legion Post # 194. He was active in both Little League and Girls Softball and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR fan along with being a supporter of the Florence Flashes. He was known and loved by his family as "Our King". He is survived by his wife, Melanie, a son, Albert, III, daughters Kristy, Jamie and Stefanie, mother and step-father, Irene and Earl Weakland of Dushore, Pa., father and step-mother, Albert, Sr. and Clara Blakeslee of Roebling, brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Mitzi Carroll of Bordentown, sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion and Jim Roberts of Willingboro, Grace and Steve Archer of Bordentown, Polly and Richard Smith of Freeport, ME., Nay and Max Burress of Bordentown and Peanut and George Dixon of Bordentown, mother-in-law, Doris Allen of Bordentown, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Donna Poinsett of Deptford and Michael and Charlotte Allen of Bordentown, 1 grand-daughter, Amber Quillen, several nieces and nephews and many "special friends". The funeral will be Friday at 8:00 P.M. from the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown with cremation to be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Friday.
