Audrey May Asher

Pennsville - Audrey May Asher, 59, of Pennsville died Tuesday at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD., she had resided in this area for 29 years. A child of God The Father, she had a special interest in sports and children. She helped to organize and start the Women's Softball League and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pedricktown. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Asher of Pennsville, 2 sons, Rodger Lehr of Lexington, KY. And Larry Lehr, Jr. of Carneys Point, 2 brothers, Richard Wanner of Maryland and James Wanner of Elsinboro, 3 sisters, Joyce Wanner of Pennsylvania, Louise Pontius of Maryland and Marie Hoffmann of California, 6 grandchildren and many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church, 89 West Mill Road, Pedricktown. Memorials may be made to either the First Baptist Church Bible Fund or Hospice of Salem County, 390 North Broadway, Pennsville, N.J. 08070.
