Alfred B. Alston

Hamilton Twp. - Alfred B. Alston, 90, of Hamilton died Sunday at Princeton Medical Center after a brief illness. He was an ordained minister and served as the Officer in charge of The American Rescue Workers in Trenton for over 40 years until his retirement in 1999. Alfred ministered to the needy and distributed holiday food baskets in the Trenton area. He loved to hunt, fish, and relax outdoors with God's creatures; he was also an avid NASCAR fan and was past president of the Alert Communications Club.

One of sixteen children of Warren and Jennie Alston, brother of the recently deceased Thomas Alston, and loving husband for 30 years of the late Alice Alston, he is survived by son and daughter-in-law Warren and Rosemarie Alston of Hamilton, nephew Ed Alston of Hamilton Square, and niece and her husband Reba and Al Wainwright of Tuckerton.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 - 8 P.M. at Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown, Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.
