Robert A. Bier
Lumberton- Robert A. Bier, 61 of Lumberton died Wednesday at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born and raised in Trenton he resided there until moving to Lumberton two years ago. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 68 AFLCIO. He was previously employed for 12 years by St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton as a specialty mechanic electrician, as well as US Steel Fairless Works for several years. He was an avid fan of Horse Racing, NASCAR, computers, and he loved to travel. Son of the late Adam and Rose Petrolini Bier, and brother of his late twin sister Roberta Bonnie Bier he is survived by his wife Marie Mennel of Lumberton, four daughters Donna Castro and her husband Quintin of North Carolina, Nicole DiPrinzio and her husband Anthony of Horsham, PA, Jennifer Mennel and her fiancé Anthony Ricca of Maple Shade, Kristina Martino and her husband Philip of Lawrenceville, a son Matthew Mennel of Riverside, a sister Gwen Allen and her husband Michael of Trenton, two nephews and two nieces Michael, Joshua, Mary & Rebecca Allen, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3pm from the Huber-Moore Funeral Home 517 Farnsworth Avenue Bordentown. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation from 1pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
