Virginia Brenneman (Fraser)

Virginia Fraser Brenneman, age 86 of Bordentown City, New Jersey, died November 28, 2007.  She was born and raised in Ellwood City, PA and in January of 1994 moved to Whiting NJ and then to Clare Estate in Bordentown, NJ. She was secretary of Calvin Presbyterian Church for eighteen and a half years and also served as a Deacon and Elder; she was a Past Matron and Life Member of the Order of Eastern Star and was active in Meals-on-Wheels until moving to Whiting. She was also active in the Senior Women’s Club, Alpha Lambda Eta and AARP.

After moving to Whiting, Virginia immediately joined the Community Reformed Church where she served on Consistory and was treasurer of the Major Maintenance and Capital Improvement Fund.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard V. Brenneman in January 1990, sister Charlotte Barnett in May 1996 and brother Jack Fraser in January 2001.

Surviving are two daughters, Charlene B. Powell of Trenton, NJ, Karen B. Hile of Derry, NH, granddaughter Jennifer Hile of Bellefonte, PA, grandson Jeffery Hile, son-in-law David Hile, great granddaughter Faith Ceurvels of Derry, NH and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Friday December 7th, 2007 at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown, NJ. Calling hours will be Friday from 3pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Internment will be at The Slippery Rock Mausoleum.
