Grace L. Joyce Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Grace L. Joyce , 87, of Medford, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2022 at Virtua West Jersey Hospital, Voorhees, NJ. Grace loved being with her family. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her and brought her so much joy. Grace loved Las Vegas and the beach. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, Bingo and Scrabble. Grace also enjoyed a good glass of wine with her family and friends. Wife of the late John M. "Mike" Joyce; daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Lemp; sister of the late Rev. Joseph Lemp; mother of the late Douglas J. Joyce; grandmother of the late Douglas P. Joyce; she is survived by her children, J. Michael Joyce, Jr. (Mary) of Tinley Park, IL, Lauren A. Garro (Samuel) of Sicklerville, NJ, and Beth A. Collins (Stephen) of West Chester, PA; her brother Ronald G. Lemp (Doris) of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandchildren, John M. Joyce III, Mary E. "Me Me" Joyce, Michelle J. Garro, Kimberly A. Garro, J. Matthew Joyce, Samantha A. Joyce, Kasey J. Collins, Sean M. Collins, and Brady Q. Collins; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 6-8PM, and again on Monday, August 8, from 9:30-10:30AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11AM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford, NJ. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery at Historic Medford Village (formerly known as Odd Fellows Cemetery), Medford, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Grace's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Jones Rd., P.O. Box 1131, Medford, NJ 08055; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
