Troy Famularo Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Troy Falmularo was born March 23, 1971, in Bayonne Hospital, Bayonne, NJ. His parents are John Famularo (Deceased) and Carolyn Famularo. Troy lived and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was "one of a kind," greatly admired and loved by his younger sister Chelsea and only daughter Desiree. Troy is survived by his favorite brother-in-law Tony Gilmore, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His step-mom Mary, step-sister Missy, and step-brother John. In his earlier years, Troy attended Holy Rosary Catholic School in Jersey City, and was a proud altar boy for Holy Rosary Church for several years. He was an exceptional individual. He knew and respected the belief in the Creator and throughout his early years, continued to attend mass. As a teenager, Troy moved with his family to Browns Mills, NJ. He relished in the country settings of this small rural town. He attended Pemberton High School, and made lasting friendships with many until his unexpected demise. As a youngster, Troy loved adventurous activities and soon became proficient with bicycles doing wheelies and other tricks. He began to become interested in cars throughout his life time and owned many different vehicles. He also took delight in collecting coins, rare dollar bills, his aquariums, and the NY Giants was his favorite squad. Troy loved the outdoors and this led him into "telecommunications," where he installed telephone and cable lines. This offered him the opportunity to become a supervisor and travel throughout the country. When 911 occurred at the World Trade Center, Troy was on a plane (his first plane ride) to a training position in the telecommunications field. He later worked with an elite crew sent to the World Trade Center on a clean-up, demolition and recovery venture. Later, he was employed with a major Jersey Fencing Company. The Famularo and Gilmore families wish to acknowledge all in attendance, and those who send warm love and support from afar. We acknowledge the power of love and mercy of our Creator, because without him we could not get through Troy's loss. We are heartbroken, but delight in knowing that Troy lived his life on his own terms. We have a void in our hearts but if you really knew Troy, he wouldn't want anyone to be in sorrow. To know Troy is to Love Troy, forever. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 10-11AM, at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Rd., Browns Mills, NJ. A memorial service will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately for the family.
